Abstract:
To stably support a graphite thin film and inhibit heat transfer from the graphite thin film to a substrate.SOLUTION: A light emitting element 4 according to one embodiment comprises: a substrate 41; a graphite thin film 42 arranged on the substrate 41; and electrodes 43 provided on edges 42c, 42d of the graphite film 42 on a second surface 42b of the graphite thin film 42 opposite to the first surface 42a which faces the substrate 41. The light emitting element further comprises, on the surface of the substrate 41 opposite to the graphite thin film 42, a plurality of protrusion parts 10 (protrusion part formation region P) for supporting the graphite thin film 42, which is formed across a whole area of a region A1 where part of the graphite thin film 42 except the edges 42c, 42d overlaps the substrate 41 when viewed from at least a thickness direction of the substrate 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
