Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high luminous efficacy light extraction substrate of organic EL illumination capable of achieving organic EL illumination with a narrow frame.SOLUTION: The light extraction substrate includes on a transparent substrate 1: a first layer 2 which is formed of a diffraction grating part 4 with surface of plural minute uneven shapes; and a second layer 1 which is embedded with no gap in the diffraction grating part. In an outer peripheral of the first layer, a recess 5 of a constant width is formed; and in outer peripheral of the recess portion, an outer shell 6 of a constant width is formed. In the recess portion also, the second layer is embedded.
