Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin light fittings and to safely restore the light fittings.SOLUTION: A light fitting 10 comprises: a power source connection part 11 that connects to a power source 20; an emitter 12 that emits light by power supplied by the power source connection part 11; a switch 13 disposed in a conduction path from the power source connection part 11 to the emitter 12; a control circuit 14 that activates the switch 13; and a light receiving element 15 connected to the control circuit 14. By receiving a laser beam emitted from a laser pointer, the light receiving element 15 activates the control circuit 14 and turns on or off the switch 13. Simply by emitting a laser beam to the switch from the laser pointer, each emitter can be turned on or off. Accordingly, this eliminates the need to detach the light fitting by use of a trestle, ladder, or the like, thus making it possible to thin and restore light fittings.
