PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy and operability by changing the position of the roller in the direction of height to turn a pickup around the shaft thereby changing its light irradiating angle.
CONSTITUTION: When laser light is not made incident vertically like an optical axis (l) on a disc face because of variation of the size of each component of a player or a tilt of a turntable, a shaft 7 is rotated by using a screw driver or the like by loosening or tightening a screw 8. Since a guard 9 is progressed or retrogressed as the screw is progressed or retrogressed, a roller 6 is moved in the rising or descending direction of a slope 2 finally. As a result, a pickup 3 is turned slightly around a shaft 10 in the arrow Y and the optical axis of the laser light is tilted in the direction of l' or l". Thus, the light irradiating angle is finely adjusted easily and since the adjustment is attained from the side of the pickup, the operability is improved.
