Title:
LIGHT QUANTITY DETECTING SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812206
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of the position displacement between a shielding member and light receiving elements by providing a plurality of central detection light receiving elements on a reference axis.
SOLUTION: A right detection light receiving element DR is arranged on the left side of a reference axis Lcent with the azimuth 0 in a light receiving region on the upper face of a housing, a left detection light receiving element DL is arranged on the right side, and a central detection light receiving element DC is arranged on the reference axis Lcent. A slit plate is supported on the housing above the light receiving elements DR, DL, DC, and the incoming light is fed to the light receiving elements through slits. A right light reception signal is obtained by the output of the central detection light receiving element DC when the output and sensitivity of the right detection light receiving element DR are reduced, and a left light reception signal is obtained by the output of the central detection light receiving element DC when the output and sensitivity of the left detection light receiving element DL are reduced.
