Abstract:

To provide a light receiving apparatus at comparatively low cost having a function equal to that of a line image sensor.

A light receiving apparatus for detecting light in a detection region includes: a photodetector; light receiving means provided with a mask including an aperture for regulating light incident to the photodetector; moving means for moving the light receiving means over the detection region; and position detection means to detect movement position of the light receiving means.
