To provide an inflatable light balloon equipped with a large capacity of envelope to which wind resistance is optimum irrespective of the height of a mast.
The balloon includes the envelope 12 which can be inflated with air, an anemometer 32 for determining wind velocity outside this envelope 12, and a control circuit for controlling a fan so that the internal expansion pressure of the envelope 12 is changed according to the wind velocity. An upper component 14A of the mast 14 is vertically passed through the envelope 12 and static rigidity is provided at levels of a bottom pole 18 and a top pole 26 on both sides of a diametric direction. The mast 14 is hollow, and at least one air outlet orifice 46 is formed on the upper component 14A so that the envelope 12 is inflated by an electropneumatic means.
