Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a light-stabilizing flame retardant which improves stability for heat of (co)polymer, light, and a harmful action of combustion by containing amido and imido acids formed by binding a hindered amine light-stabilizing group with a halogenated flame-retardant group.
CONSTITUTION: This flame retardant forming an amido acid, N-(acrylamino) amido acid, an imide, or N-(acrylamino)imide which is obtained by binding (A) a hindered amine light-stabilizing group which preferably consists of 2,2,6,6- tetraalkyl pipesozine group, with (B) a halogenated flame-retardant group which preferably consists of a carboxy tetrahalobenzoylamino group.
