Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmission body which is large in a transmitted light quantity and decreases crosstalk light rays when the light transmission body is formed as a light transmission body array and lens plate.
SOLUTION: The columnar light transmission body 1 which is continuously decreased in the refractive index toward the outer peripheral part from the center is formed with N layers (N≥2) of light absorbent coexisting layers 2, 3 in which light absorbents coexist nearly uniformly in the portions within 100 μ toward the center from the outer peripheral surface. The concn. of the light absorbents within the light absorbent coexisting layer of the n-th layer (n=1, 2,..., N) toward the outer peripheral part from the center, defined as dn, is dn>dn-1. The light absorbent coexisting layer 3 on the outermost side is formed within a range inclusive of the outer peripheral surface. The light absorbent coexisting layer of the n-th layer and the light absorbent coexisting layer of the (n-1)th layer are adjacent to each other.
