To provide a lighting control system wherein address setting can be easily and quickly performed by using visible light communication.

This lighting control system 1 includes a plurality of luminaires 2 each of which has a receiver 5 and a control device 13 to control an lighting load 8 so as to transmit an ID number stored in a storage 14 as a visible light signal when a control signal received by the receiver 5 is a control signal for communication, and a remote control device 3 having a control portion 22 which makes the control signal for communication transmitted from a transmission/reception portion 18 by a radio signal in accordance with manual operation of a mode change-over switch 17, and makes a storage portion 19 store association of a desired operation switch 6 manually operated when the transmission/reception portion 18 is receiving the visible signal transmitted from the luminaire 2 with the ID number of the visible light signal.
