To achieve psychological stability of a user in an automobile cabin while improving comfortableness in the automobile cabin.
A transparent electrode 26 is provided on a surface on a case 12 side of a lighting lens 14. Contact of a human body with a surface on the automobile cabin side of the lighting lens 14 changes an electrostatic capacity of the transparent electrode 26. A control circuit mounted on a circuit board 28 performs switching between lighting and extinction of a room lamp 22 according to the change in the electrostatic capacity of the transparent electrode 26. An infrared sensor 30 is mounted on the circuit board 28. The infrared sensor 30 outputs a signal indicating a distance to a human body to a control circuit on the circuit board 28 based on an infrared ray emitted from a radiation part 32 and an infrared ray received by a receiving part 34. The control circuit calculates the distance to a human body based on the signal outputted from the infrared sensor 30 and controls the lighting state of the room lamp 22 based on the distance.
