Abstract:
To provide a lighting device for an endoscope, in which migration is less likely to occur due to liquids such as water; and to provide an endoscope apparatus including the same.
A lighting device for an endoscope includes: a substrate 12 arranged on a distal end 2a of a long insert portion 2; an illumination light source 14 mounted on the substrate 12; a wiring pattern 13 electrically connected to the illumination light source 14 and provided on the substrate 12; a covering section 16 provided on the substrate 12 so that the wiring pattern 13 may be covered, having optical transparency, and having insulation properties; and a sealing resin 18 laminated on the covering section 16 and having optical transparency.
