Abstract:
To provide a lighting device for a fluorescent lamp that improves the problem and secure safety at low cost by deleting a thermal fuse as a protection measures in case of failure and over heat of the transistor at preheating and lighting an electronic lighting tube.
A lead wire which supplies electricity to an electronic lighting tube is directly soldered to the electric source terminal of the transistor. When the transistor has failed and become overheated, the above soldering part melts relatively quickly and shut off the electric connection of the lead wire. By having the above structure, usage of an expensive thermal fuse can be avoided and safety is secured.
