Abstract:
To light an intended portion of a storage room in a more effective manner with a lighting device provided on a wall surface of the storage room to utilize light emitted from a light source more effectively.SOLUTION: A lighting device (10) provided on a side wall (8) of a storage room of a refrigerator includes a light source (3) and a cover (6). The cover (6) has: a light emitting part (63) which emits light, which enters from a light incident part (60) and travels in a direction from the front to the rear along the side wall (8), into the storage room (2); and an end light emission shape (64) which is provided at a rear end (6r) protruding from the side wall (8) into the storage room (2) to emit light to the outside. The end light emission shape (64) has a light emission surface (75) oriented to the downstream in a travel direction of the light traveling from the front to the rear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
