Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion bearing that is lightweight and high in durability, and to which a steel ball is easily mounted.SOLUTION: A linear motion bearing includes a synthetic resin-based cylindrical member inside which a plurality of infinite steel ball circulation paths are formed, and a plurality of steel balls stored in the respective infinite steel ball circulation paths. The cylindrical member includes: a cylindrical frame body having a surface-shaped space in a region contacting with an outer peripheral side passage of the infinite steel ball circulation path, and a synthetic resin-based plate that has an arch-shaped cross section mounted in the surface-shaped space and where a metal piece is fitted into a position contacting with the outer peripheral side passage of the infinite steel ball circulation path. The synthetic resin-based plate is mounted in the cylindrical frame body by a hinge structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
