Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a linear motor in which the manufacturing cost can be reduced, while enhancing the controllability by arranging more than one stator segments, while being spaced apart from each other, in place of an annular stator.
SOLUTION: The linear motor is constituted of an inner rotor 12, an outer rotor 14, and a plurality of stator segments 20, 30 for supplying flux to each rotor. The inner and outer rotors 12, 14 are connected directly with the pulsator and the spin dry bath of a washing machine, respectively, and require no independent power transmission.
