To provide a lining method using a two-pack epoxy resin coating material of a non-solvent type which can prevent the occurrence of pinholes or foam-broken trace in a coating film formed on an inner surface of a drain stack and also can prevent fluctuation in coating film thickness.
In this lining method for applying the two-pack epoxy resin coating material of the non-solvent type onto the inside of the drain stack plumbed in a building after cleaning by polishing, volatilized components and evaporated components produced in a setting reaction process of a coating film applied on an inner surface of the stack are discharged outside from the inside of the stack by sending gas in the stack at a desired flow rate so as not to rapidly and excessively cause an addition polymerization reaction between the coating film and the components. Thus, the generation of excessive reaction heat due to addition polymerization reaction is prevented.
