Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce vibration momentum of a piston pin and a connecting rod eye.
CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod eye 2 is combined with a piston pin 3 by shrink fitting so that relative rotation and axial displacement of the two components are prevented. The piston pin having a center hole 4 is supported within a bushing 5, and the bushing is floatingly supported within a hole 7 of a piston 6.
