Graphic data, namely an expansion plan, of the sheet metal product is produced and stored in a graphic data memory 21. An automatic cutting shape generating part 23 reads the bending data, generates cutting shape data considering a joint or the like based on a position of a back gauge or the like, and stores it in a cutting shape data memory 29. An automatic bending data generating part 25 reads the cutting shape data from the cutting shape data memory 29, generates bending data considering a position of the joint or the like, and stores it in a bending data memory 27. Thus, primary machining data considering the secondary machining is automatically generated to make the sheet metal product suitable.
