Abstract:
To provide an analogue having a high clearance rate, improving release characteristic of peptide hormone requiring repeated administration and having a protracted profile of action.
The present invention relates to a peptide hormone in which the parent peptide hormone has been modified by introducing a lipophilic substituent, W, into the N-terminal amino acid or introducing a lipophilic substituent, Z, into the C-terminal amino acid of the parent peptide hormone, wherein the lipophilic substituent W or Z has 8-40 carbon atoms and has a protracted profile of action, or an analogue thereof.
