To provide a liquefied natural gas storage tank having an improved heat insulated structure, and a manufacturing method thereof, in which structures of an adiabatic wall and a seal wall and connecting structure between the both are simplified to facilitate works therefor while improving sealing reliability, and the assembling structure and the manufacturing process are simplified to shorten the drying time of the tank.
The liquefied natural gas storage tank having an improved heat insulated structure comprises the adiabatic wall provided on the inner surface of the tank, the seal wall provided on the upper surface of the adiabatic wall and directly contacting with liquefied natural gas, and a plurality of anchor structures provided on the inner surface of the storage tank and supporting the seal wall through the adiabatic wall. The seal wall has a multilayer structure composed of at least two or more layers.
