PURPOSE: To provide a liquid-break device which not only automatically interrupt a flow passage but also can be restored by means of automatic remote actuation wherein the device is actuated by a valve body directly connected to the rotating shaft of a motor.
CONSTITUTION: A stepping motor 12 acting as a drive source is fixed onto the external upper section of a device main body 11. A fan shaped opening section 13a for increasing a flow rate is provided for a valve seat 13. In a water marked hole 14b for the key section of which a valve body 14 is provided where the aforesaid valve body covers the opening section 13a of the valve seat 13 while being in a similar figure with the opening section, and includes its periphery 14a, the valve body 14 which is fixed onto the tip end section of the rotating shaft 12a of the stepping motor 12, is moved over the valve seat 13 while being closedly attached thereon with the stepping motor 12 controlled so as to be driven. By this constitution, a flow passage 15 is thereby released/interrupted.
