Abstract:
PURPOSE: To render the temperature characteristics of permittivity negative by adding one or more kind of Bi, Sb, Ta, Nb, Th, Ce and glass frit to a basic composition shown by a specific formula where the mole ratio is specified.
CONSTITUTION: One or more kind of Bi, Sb, Ta, Nb, Th, Ce is added by 0.15-4.0wt.%, expressed in terms of oxide, to a basic composition shown by a formula Pb[Zrx-Tiy-(W0.5Ni0.5)z]O3, where the mole ratio is specified as follows; x=0.30-0.55, y=0.35-0.55, Z=0.02-0.25, x+y+z=1.0, thus producing a piezoelectric ceramic composition. 6-13 pts.wt. of La2O3 and 13wt.% or less of at least one of TiO2 and ZrO3 are added to 100 pts.wt. of the composition. It is further added with 8-15 pts.wt. of glass frit obtained by fusing and grinding 25-56wt.% of SiO2, 5-34wt.% of SiCO3, 16wt.% or less of BaCO3, 5-10wt.% of H3BO3, 3-24wt.% of CaCO3, 0.1-18wt.% of MgCO3, and 3-37wt.% of Al2O3.
