Title:
LIQUID COOLING STRUCTURE OF STATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03284141
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency by applying a plating layer on the outside surface of a stator, and directly cooling the surface of the plating layer with liquid.

CONSTITUTION: For a stator 10, the core is formed by laminating thin plates with one another. The surface of each thin plate 12 for lamination is coated with an organic adhesive, and when it is heated in the condition that thin plates 12 are stacked, the coating adhesives fuse, and each thin plate 12 adheres to and unites with one another. After grinding the outside surface 14 of the stator core after adhesion, hard chromium plating is applied, and further it is finished with polishing. Winding is applied to this so as to complete the stator 10, and the stator 10 is inserted in the jacket 18, which is provided with a passage 20 for coolant at the inside periphery, and both ends are sealed with O rings 22.
