Abstract:

To provide a liquid crystal device and an electronic apparatus capable of improving display quality.

A seal material 14 comprises: a first part formed along a first side of an element substrate; a second part formed along a second side adjacent to the first side; and a third part connecting the first part and the second part. A vertical conducting part 26 is located between the third part and the second side in a planar view. At least part of an edge on a display area side of the third part in a planar view projects toward the first side in comparison with an edge on a display area side of the first part.
