Abstract:

To provide a liquid crystal display device which determines a current distribution ratio of light sources facing each other in accordance with an adjustment condition.

An LED control unit 17 starts an LED current calculation processing part 17a in response to an input of an installation state as an adjustment condition from a control unit 15. The LED current calculation processing part 17a takes out an LED current distribution ratio of an upper LED and a lower LED, which corresponds to the installation state, from an LED current distribution ratio setting table 14a and calculates current values to be distributed to the upper LED and the lower LED. The LED control unit 17 outputs the current values of the upper LED and the lower LED, which are calculated by the LED current calculation processing part 17a, to an LED driving unit 18. In response to an input of the current values of the upper LED and the lower LED from the LED control unit 17, an LED current control part 18a of the LED driving unit 18 controls current to be supplied to an LED backlight 20 on the basis of the current values. The LED backlight 20 radiates light from the rear side of a liquid crystal display unit 21 to display an image.
