Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display device at a low cost in which a silver alloy having low resistivity is used for the signal lines.
In the liquid crystal display device, at least one of the scanning signal line GL, image signal line DL, source electrode SD1 and drain electrode SD2 of a thin film transistor TFT consists of a layered film of a first conductive film and a second conductive film. The first conductive film is made of a Mo alloy essentially comprising Mo, while the second conductive film is formed on the first conductive film and is made of a Ag alloy essentially comprising silver.
