PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display element which does not generate the disconnection of transparent electrodes by mispositioning at the time of printing of conductive materials, floating of the conductive materials, mispositioning of the conductive materials at the time of assembling a liquid crystal shell, external stresses and rubbing flaws during the production process of the liquid crystal display element.

CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate 1 and a lower substrate 2 are extended. An external input terminal part a and an external input terminal part B are formed on the extension part thereof. A film substrate 13 formed with conductive patterns on both surfaces is inserted and arranged between these external terminal parts and is thermocompression bonded, by which the terminal parts are electrically connected.
