This invention relates to frame control. An output of a gradation register is connected with No.0-No.3 terminals, and picture data are inputted to D0-D2. When D2 of the picture data is H, a terminal (a) becomes H, therefore, an output C is reflects it. D0 and D1 select switches S0-S3. No.0-No.3 reverse positional gradation registers output No.0-No.3 reverse patterns. The reverse patterns are reversed by D2. Therefore, the gradation registers for the reverse patterns are unnecessary, and the circuit can be made small.
