Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display which prevents sounding from the liquid crystal display and is proper in image quality.
In the liquid crystal display, a counter electrode is constituted of a plurality of counter electrode lines 30 formed in parallel to a scanning line 16, wherein a counter voltage is applied, such that each of the counter electrode lines 30 has a different polarity, and the polarity is inverted for each prescribed period.
