Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in a display having a display area with an irregular shape, since the lengths of wires are not identical, the number of pixels driven by the wires is also different; in particular, when the wires are scan lines, luminance unevenness occurs due to the difference, and the display quality of the display is deteriorated.SOLUTION: In a display having a display area with an irregular shape, when there is a first scan line that drives a small number of pixels than that of a second scan line, a capacity is added to an extended scan line in which the first scan line extends to the outside of the display area. The addition of the capacity can compensate for a large difference in RC delay between the scan lines occurring due to the number of the driven pixels, thereby preventing luminance unevenness and contributing to improvement of display quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
