The liquid detergent composition is stored in the non-gas type foam dispensing container having a porous membrane, and in use, discharged in the foam form from the container via the porous membrane. The liquid detergent composition contains (a) 1-30 mass% of a specific acyl taurine salt (for example, N-decanoyl N-methyl taurine salt and the like), (b) 0.1-15 mass% of an amphoteric surfactant (for example, coconut oil fatty acid amidopropyl betaine, 2-coconut oil fatty acid alkyl-N-carboxyethyl-N-hydroxyethyl imidazolinium betaine, and the like), and (c) 0.01-3 mass% of cationized starch.
