Abstract:
To provide a printing method with glossiness without a crack of a coated film.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises a control unit which controls a head unit, an irradiation unit, and a drive unit. The control unit forms a first film by executing a first control that does not emit an activation energy beam by turning off a first block of the irradiation unit located on the downstream side of a first discharge unit and a second control that emits the activation energy beam by turning on a second block on the downstream side of the first block, to a first brightener that is discharged from the first discharge unit located on the upstream side in a sub-scanning direction of the plurality of discharge units, and forms a second film by executing the first control and a second control to a second brightener discharged onto the first film from a second discharge unit located on the downstream side of the first discharge unit of the plurality of discharge units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
