To provide a liquid droplet discharging device which can detect a missing dot with a specific discharge waveform for each nozzle, and can enhance the image quality and improve the yield, and to provide an inspection method of a liquid droplet discharging head.
The liquid droplet discharging device includes: the liquid droplet discharging head 9 to which the voltage of the different waveforms are applied corresponding to each nozzle 17 and which thereby can discharge ink of the variable amount; an inspection stage that places inspection medium CP; an imaging means that images a dot pattern DP1 of the ink discharged from the liquid droplet discharging head 9 and impacted on the inspection medium CP; and a determination part that determines whether the missing dot has been generated in each nozzle 17 based on the dot pattern DP1 imaged by the imaging means and formed by applying the voltage of all waveforms used at discharge operation of the liquid droplet discharging head 9.
