To provide a liquid polymer composition for potting, having improved heat resistance, excellent adhesiveness to a syndiotactic polystyrene and sealability, a potting material for a housing material made of a syndiotactic polystyrene prepared by curing the composition and a method for potting a housing material made of a syndiotactic polystyrene.
The liquid polymer composition for potting a housing material made of a syndiotactic polystyrene comprises a hydroxy group-containing liquid polyisoprene-based polymer hydride and a polyisocyanate compound, and if necessary, further a polyol compound except the polyol and/or a polyamine compound. The potting material is prepared by curing the liquid polymer composition. The method for potting a housing material made of syndiotactic polystyrene includes injecting the liquid polymer composition into components of electric or electronic material, industrial structural material, household electric appliances, etc., and curing the composition.
