A liquid supply device includes mounting units respectively configured so that liquid cartridges 8a to 8c can be removably mounted thereon, liquid tanks 111a to 111c respectively storing liquids flowing out of the liquid cartridges 8a to 8c mounted on the mounting units, cartridge branch paths 101a to 101c respectively communicating with internal spaces of the liquid cartridges 8a to 8c mounted on the mounted units, first pressure control means 102, communicating with the cartridge branch paths 101a to 101c, for controlling pressures of all the cartridges branch paths 101a to 101c, and opening/closing valves 104a to 104c respectively provided in the cartridge branch paths 101a to 101c.
