Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion capacitor which is reduced in internal resistance and superior in energy density.SOLUTION: A lithium ion capacitor comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes; and an electrolyte solution. The positive electrode has: a positive electrode current collector; and a positive electrode mixture layer including a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material includes an active carbon subjected to a treatment by a water vapor activation method. The positive electrode active material has a basis weight of 3.0-5.0 mg/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
