Abstract:
To provide a lithium-ion secondary battery that has an excellent long-term capacity maintenance rate.
The lithium-ion secondary battery has a positive electrode comprising a substance that stores and releases lithium ions, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte 16. The electrolyte 16 contains a substance represented by a chemical formula 1 (where R comprises an alkyl group and has a carbon number of 2-6 or comprises a combination of an alkylene group and a methyl group, and the total carbon number of the alkylene group and the methyl group is 3-6).
