To provide a LNG cold recovery method for easily recovering LNG cold using a simple device, and its device.
A first circular duct and a second circular duct are arranged at vertical positions between a LNG cold recovery part and a heat exchanger. The first circular duct consists of an upper side inclined duct internally provided in the LNG cold recovery part, a heat medium riser duct in which a heat medium rises, a heat medium downcomer duct in which the heat medium comes down, and a lower side heat exchange duct. The first circular duct is filled with a first heat medium having a melting point lower than the boiling point of LNG and a boiling point higher than the boiling point thereof. The second circular duct consists of an upper side inclined duct internally provided in the lower side heat exchange duct of the first circular duct, a heat medium riser duct in which a heat medium rises and a heat medium downcomer duct in which the heat medium comes down, and a lower side heat exchange duct. The second circular duct is filled with a second heat medium having a melting point lower than the boiling point of the first heat medium and a boiling point higher than the boiling point thereof. LNG cold is transferred by each heat medium to cool a material to be cooled of the heat exchanger.
