Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase an output of a gas turbine and improve a thermal transmission of waste gas recoverying heat exchanger by a method wherein an injection of either water or steam into a gas turbine combustion unit is performed in response to a require load of the amount more than a rated load. CONSTITUTION:A composite cycle plant has a gas turbine 3, waste heat recoverying heat exchanger 11 and steam turbine 4. A combustion unit 8 is provided with either water or steam injection system 14 in parallel with a combustion system 9. The injection system 14 is operated such that an output of the gas turbine is increased when the gas turbine 3 shows temporarily an over- loaded condition in response to the load requirement. In this way, it is made possible to accomplish the improved response for broad range of load.
