To make compatible energy saving performance and economical efficiency in a system including a photovoltaic power generation device and a power accumulation device.
This load control device comprises: the photovoltaic power generation device 1; the power accumulation device 2; an apparatus 3; a power generation prediction part 6; a load prediction part 8; an operation schedule-charging amount calculation part 9; a power accumulation control part 14; and an apparatus control part 15. The operation schedule-charging amount calculation part calculates an operation schedule of the apparatus 3 so that the power generation amount from the photovoltaic power generation device 1 becomes small according to a predicted power generation amount calculated by the power generation prediction part 6 and a predicted load amount calculated by the load prediction part 8, calculates a power generation amount which should be accumulated in a nighttime, and performs the operation control of the apparatus 3 and the charging amount control of the accumulation device 2, thus balancing the use amount of natural energy and the use amount of inexpensive nighttime electric power. By this, the energy saving performance and the economical efficiency can be made compatible.
