Abstract:
To drive a load more efficiently.
A load control device comprises: voltage adjustment circuits 20 for adjusting voltages of signals to be inputted to gates of IGBTs 51-56; and switching speed adjustment circuits 30 for adjusting switching speeds of the signals to be inputted to the gates of the IGBTs 51-56. The voltages and the switching speeds of the signals to be inputted to the gates of the IGBTs 51-56 are processed so as to reduce loss of the IGBTs 51-56 in accordance with a control mode such as a sine wave PWM control mode, an overmodulation PWM control mode, and a square wave control mode.
