Abstract:

To provide a rotary machine controller capable of reducing the number of switching state changeovers for switching elements, which is increased and likely to cause a loss problem associated with the switching state changeovers when PWM control is performed.

In a phase setting section 32, a phase δ is calculated as an operation amount to perform feedback control on an estimated torque Te to a request torque Tr. Meanwhile, a norm Vn is set by using the request torque Tr and an electric angular velocity ω as inputs in a norm setting section 33. In a dead time calculating section 34, a dead time DT in rectangular wave control is calculated as an electric angle interval on the basis of a power supply voltage VDC and the norm Vn. In a phase correcting section 35, the phase δ calculated in the phase setting section 32 is corrected by "DT/2". In a rectangular wave signal generating section 36, operation signals g*#(*=u,v,w;#=p,n) are generated on the basis of the corrected phase δ, the dead time DT and a rotation angle θ.
