To optimize a vehicle structure of a side door-closing machine and a side door periphery by reproducing the load to be applied to the side door-closing machine.
The side door-closing machine 14 and a side door 12 are set up in an opening frame body 22 which imitates the vehicle structure of the side door periphery, and the load applied to the side door-closing machine 14 is reproduced by the load giving means fixed to the opening frame body 22. Every time the side door 12 is opened/closed, or every time the side door 12 is fully closed, the load is applied to the side door-closing machine 14 through the side door 12 by a lateral pressure giving device 24 which contacts the side door 12 which is driven by the side door-closing machine 14. Moreover the load giving means includes a side door-closing machine fixture 26 and a door rail fixture 28, and can applies the load to the side door-closing machine 14 by adjusting the shapes of these fixtures and reproducing deflections caused in the vehicle structure of the side door periphery.
