To provide a local area deodorizing unit for removing an odor generated around a bed in excretion of a person requiring nursing care who can not go to a toilet by himself/herself in a hospital or an aged person nursing institution or the like.
A deodorizing tank 5 is filled with deodorizing liquid S to a position to completely sink a punching plate 8 and many micropores s are formed on the punching plate 8. A air sending pipe 7 connected to a blower fan in a blower fan chamber is extended to the lower part of the deodorizing tank 5 and passes through the center of the punching plate 8 partitioned at a prescribed height position from the bottom part and the air sending pipe 7 is opened to the bottom part side. Malodorous air is discharged from the air sending pipe 7 as air bubbles and surfaces upwards in the deodorizing liquid S and the air bubbles are dammed at the punching plate 8 and retained on the lower surface of the punching plate 8 as an air layer R. The dammed retained air surfaces again in the deodorizing liquid S as fine air bubbles from the micropores s of the punching plate 8 and is made odorless.
