Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the restraining function of a striker, by energizing a striker energizing member by increasing the energizing force of an energizing spring by rotating a ratch, so as to restrain the striker.
CONSTITUTION: When a striker 18 advances, the striker 18 and a ratch 31 are made in the engaging condition, and at the same time, the energizing force of an energizing spring 39 is increased by the rotation of the ratch 31, and a striker regulating member 35 is energized to a restraining position. As a result, the striker 18 is restrained securely by the striker regulating member 35 which is abutted to the striker 18 when its advance is completed, so as to generate no rattling. On the other hand, a locking plate 33 is rotated to a locking position, by both functions of the striker regulating member 35 rotating to the restraining position, and the energizing spring 39, and it is engaged with the ratch 31 rapidly. At the final stage in such a movement, only the energizing force of the energizing spring 39 is to be operated, and no large hitting sound is generated in the engaging time with the ratch 31.
