Title:
LOCK MECHANISM OF OPENING/CLOSING BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3926610
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism capable of preventing an opening/closing body from being opened even if touched by a hand.
SOLUTION: In this lock mechanism of an opening/closing body 2 openably installed on a base plate 1, a slider 12 centered by an energizing spring pressure 9 is installed on one of the base plate 1 and the opening/closing body 2 so as to be laterally moved, and a first cam sloped surface and a first lock flat surface are formed on the slider 12 and a second sloped surface and a second lock flat surface corresponding to these surfaces are formed on the other. When the opening/closing body 2 is moved in a closing direction, the slider 12 is moved by the slidable contact action of the first cam sloped surface and the second cam sloped surface. When the opening/closing body reaches a closed state, the opening/closing body is locked at that position by the slidable contact action of the first lock flat surface and the second lock flat surface. Even if a worker erroneously touches the slider 12 in a process for assembling the lock mechanism into a vehicle body, unless the slider 12 is moved laterally, the opening/closing body 2 is not unlocked. Thus, the erroneous opening of the opening/closing body 2 can be effectively prevented.
