Abstract:
To provide a tool eliminating the necessity for holding a lock ring against the radially shrinking elastic force by a worker and for supporting the weight of the lock ring.
This lock ring mounting/demounting tool is constituted by a set of two tools (41, 42) which are jointed by a single screw bolt (8) and can be individually mounted on two end portions (4a, 4b) of the lock ring (4). The paired tools (41, 42) are constituted to include body portions (or blocks 41B, 42B) and clamp portions (41C, 42C) such that the clearance between the set tools (41, 42, 410, 420, 411, 421) can be expanded and contracted.
