Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an integral type spring with pairs of two rollers and cause assembly processing to be facilitated at a bidirectional clutch for use in transmitting rotation from an input side and preventing rotation transmitted from an output side.SOLUTION: An input member 2 and an output member 3 are arranged side by side in an axial direction within a fixed housing 1 and pairs of two rollers 4 are inserted between a cam surface 31 of the output member 3 and an inner peripheral surface of the housing 1. Each of the pairs of rollers 4 is biased by a leaf spring part 53 formed into a thin leaf spring 5 in an engaging direction of the cam surface 31. When the output member 3 is started to rotate, one of the pair of rollers 4 is engaged between the cam surface 31 and the housing 1 and rotation of the output member is locked. The thin leaf spring 5 is an integral type where leaf spring parts 53 for biasing all the rollers 4 arranged in a peripheral direction are connected, the spring 5 is assembled while being abutted against the side surface of the output member 3 so as to enable a bidirectional clutch to be easily assembled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
