To control a torque converter provided in a transmission of a vehicle provided with an engine and a motor generator as a driving force source to adjust deceleration when decelerating the vehicle.
This lock-up clutch controller for the vehicle provided with a torque transmission means with a lock-up clutch provided between a driving wheel and the motor generator by using at least the motor generator as the driving force source has a lock-up clutch control means applying regeneration braking torque to the driving wheel by making the motor generator function as a power generator and controlling an engaging condition of the lock-up clutch. The motor generator functions as the power generator when decelerating the vehicle, and the lock-up clutch control means controls an engaging condition of the lock-up clutch to adjust deceleration when decelerating the vehicle.
